Q. How are new Members sponsored?
A. Here are the basics...
1. Proposed new members are sponsored by current club members. If they don’t think they know a current member, they should contact Cheri Bach at 603.964.5563 ext 242 or email

2. The sponsors and proposed new member complete and submit a Proposal for New Member form along with a $500 non-refundable deposit.
3. Nominees and sponsors names are posted for 30 days and we arrange an Introductory Meeting with the Membership Commitee and Board of Governors.
4. Upon Board approval, club membership is offered! The complete process can take less than two months depending on the schedules of those involved.
Q. Is there a wait to become a member?
A. There is no wait to become an Abenaqui member!
Once the membership procedure is completed, membership is offered immediately.
New members join at anytime throughout the year and our club is open year round.
There is also no wait for members who would like to join our
Tennis program and currently no wait for
Golf. Please contact the Membership office for updated information. While waiting for an opening, new members are considered Associate Golfers and enjoy generous golf privileges.
Q. Can I play golf while waiting for an opening?
A. Associate Golfers (waiting for a golf opening) have the same dues as social members; however, they have expanded privileges and pay golf fees when they play and are encouraged to bring guests!
Prior to June 1st and after Labor Day, unlimited golf is available.
June, July, and August the Associate Golfers may play FOUR times per month. Only two times may be a on a weekend day or Holiday.
Associate Golfers also have full use of the Practice Range, and may also play in Member/Guest, Scotchies, Scrambles, and some other tournaments at the discretion of the Golf Shop.
All club members are required to sign-in at the Golf Shop and reserve tee times through the Golf Shop.
Q. What does a new membership cost?
A. The financial obligation to join the club includes a one-time non-fundable initiation fee, an additional Golf initiation fee (when you are joining golf), the purchase of a refundable Membership Certificate. All members, including new members, pay a nominal annual assessment, and club dues according to their chosen category of Golf, Tennis, or Social and Dining.
Q. Is there a minimum spending in the dining room required?
A. There is an annual minimum of $500 for one person and $1000 for two people over four cycles in a calendar year. This includes food and beverage in the Grill Room as well as all

Q. What type of structure is Abenaqui Country Club?
A. Abenaqui is a member corporate organization and not for profit. Members hold certificates which are redeemable at its purchase amount when the member leaves the club or the club is liquidated.
